Inherited Light is a monumental triptych exploring resilience not as a passive trait, but as an active, generational discipline. Comprising three distinct panels : Endure, Balance, and Witness. The work traces the steady, internal construction of fortitude. Stepping away from her signature warm, saturated palettes, artist utilizes a focused, monochromatic blue to bypass fleeting, volatile emotions in favor of a cool, steady discipline of the mind. Across the three canvases, figures navigate vast, misty waterways and towering cliffs. Through these quiet, elemental settings, the work examines different states of mental strength: collective perseverance, graceful equilibrium, and decisive, quiet restraint. Viewed together, the triptych serves as a powerful visual study on the quiet layers of strength we must practice, cultivate, and carry forward.
