A glowing retro television sits outdoors, radiating warmth into a cool cyan landscape as two figures stand in quiet witness. This piece captures the hypnotic comfort of childhood afternoons—when a flickering screen was a gentle companion rather than a distraction. The electric orange hues represent the physical warmth of safety, transforming an object of domestic isolation into a beacon of shared tranquility. In this series, I reconstruct the universal sensory moments by replacing forgotten details with vivid, electric color, these paintings serve as emotional placeholders, allowing us to complete the sensory recollection of moments that felt safe, soft, and unhurried.
