This work explores Intimism, the romanticization of ordinary domestic spaces—as a locus of safety and emotional grounding. A scattered arrangement of ripe peaches, a simple blue vase, and dry flora rest across a table illuminated by rhythmic, sweeping bands of afternoon light. In the context of sensory memory reconstruction, the mundane kitchen corner carries profound weight. It represents the quiet, predictable spaces of everyday life where peace is held without condition. Painted with rapid, expressive mark-making on hand-prepared linen, the composition elevates a casual domestic scene into a glowing ritual of tranquility.
