"Bright Day" is a contemporary oil painting born from the artist's time living in Malaysia, translating the sensory memory of intense tropical light into a psychological landscape of alert calm. Set against a vibrant, electric blue sky, two hornbills find sanctuary within a wind-swept canopy of pink and magenta foliage. Through bold, saturated colors and textured brushwork, the artwork explores nature as an internal safe-space rather than just a physical scene.
